How do I download Scan AI?
Scan AI is currently available on iOS devices. Visit the download page to get started, or search for "Scan AI" in the Apple App Store.

What devices are supported?
Scan AI currently supports iPhone devices running iOS 17.6 or later. Android support is planned for future release.
Using the App
How do I scan a product?
Open the Scan AI app, point your camera at the front of the product packaging, and take a photo. Our AI uses image recognition to identify the product and provide shrinkflation data.
What is a shrinkflation score?
The shrinkflation score (0-100) indicates how much a product has been affected by shrinkflation. A score of 100 means no shrinkflation detected, while 0 indicates significant size reduction over time at the same or higher price.
Can I scan products outside the United States?
Yes! Scan AI works with products worldwide, as long as the product has a visible name and front package information.
What if a product isn't in your database?
Our AI conducts extensive research from verified sources in real-time. Even if a product isn't pre-loaded in our database, the AI will gather information and display it for you.
Account & Privacy
Do I need to create an account?
Yes, an account is required to use Scan AI. This allows you to save your watchlist, track scan history, and access all features.
How is my data used?

Can I delete my account?
Yes, you can delete your account at any time from within the app's settings, or by contacting us at support@scanai.app.
Technical Issues
The scanner isn't working
Make sure you've granted camera permissions to Scan AI in your device settings. Ensure adequate lighting, point your camera at the front of the product packaging, and hold your device steady while scanning. If issues persist, try restarting the app.
The app crashes or freezes
Try closing and reopening the app. If problems continue, check for app updates in the App Store. You can also try deleting and reinstalling the app (your account data will be preserved if you're signed in).
I found incorrect product information
We strive for accuracy, but errors can occur. Please report incorrect data through the app's "Report Issue" feature or email us at support@scanai.app with details.
